How to open and view match files:

Backgammon NJ match files are .mat or .txt files which are text files. You can open and view them in any text editor such as Notepad or Microsoft Word:
  1. In Backgammon NJ, select Advanced Options: Match Files (tap the arrow button at the upper left corner of the screen)
  2. Select the match files that you want to view and e-mail them to yourself
  3. Save the match files onto your computer
  4. Run a text editor such as Notepad or Microsoft Word
  5. From the menu, select File: Open
  6. Select the .mat or .txt match file and open it
  7. You should now be able to see the text of the match file
Note: Match files can also be imported into GNU Backgammon and other backgammon programs for analysis.
